Holiday events across Cobb County — October through December

The 2017 holiday season has arrived, even if the temperature outside doesn’t reflect it. Cobb County is home to several seasonal festivities for adults and children.

October

October 14-15  Marietta Square

Chalktoberfest is presented by the Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art and takes place Saturday from 10-5 and Sunday from 11-5. It includes the chalk art festival with professional artists, live music and craft beer festival. Advance tickets to participate in Saturday’s beer festival are $40-45 and $50 at the door. Owl-O-Ween The fifth annual hot air balloon festival and costume party takes place at Kennesaw State University’s Sports & Entertainment Park. November 10-12  Mableton

A Christmas Story the Musical The Theatre Project will perform the musical version of the classic film for three nights at Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre. Tickets are $10 and tables are $72.
