Cobb County robbery suspects Lashumbia Session, 38, of Marietta and Mykia Wilson, 37, of Kennesaw, already in custody on suspicion of armed robbery for an August 6 incident, have been charged with additional counts, according to a report from Officer Sarah O’Hara of the Cobb County Police Department. The new charges are for armed robberies that took place at 1350 South Cobb Drive on August 5 (a Quik Trip near the intersection of Austell Road), and 3999 Austell Road on August 8 (a Reliable Pharmacy near the East West Connector).
Cobb County robbery suspects allegedly committed multiple robberies
The Cobb County Police Department Crimes Against Persons unit has been investigating the string of robberies.
The suspects were originally charged with an August 6 robbery of a Family Dollar store on Austell Road. In that alleged robbery, two suspects, a man and a woman, entered the store and demanded money from the female clerk on duty. The male suspect brandished a handgun. After the clerk complied and gave an undisclosed amount of cash to the female suspect, the two left on foot.
A patrol officer developed a suspect after talking to members of the community. The officer handed the information over to investigators of the Crimes Against Persons unit and the Cobb Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Task Force. The suspects were located and were arrested outside the metro Atlanta area.

The Robbery Unit, which was called in for this investigation, investigates all robberies that occur in unincorporated Cobb County.
