Hazardous weather outlook issued for Cobb County due to scattered thunderstorms

The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook for Cobb County and much of the rest of north Georgia for June 28, 2022 (and continuing through the week) due to the likelihood of scattered thunderstorms, some of which might be strong.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North and Central Georgia.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight…

Scattered thunderstorms are expected today that could linger into

tonight. A few of the storms could be strong with the primary

threats of gusty winds, frequent lightning, and locally heavy

rainfall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Wednesday through Monday…

Scattered thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon and evening,

are possible each day. A few of the storms could be strong with

the primary threats of gusty winds, frequent lightning, and

locally heavy rainfall.
