The Marietta History Center has scheduled a special Pop-In event for this month. The Pop-Ins are monthly events for the whole family, featuring crafts and education.
On Saturday, September 21, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the MHC will highlight multiple institutions and initiatives related to books.
On the announcement on the Marietta website, the MHC posted the following schedule:
- Cobb Library – Georgia Room
- Cobb Bookmobile – 10am to 2pm in Atherton Square
- Georgia House Rabbits Society with touchable rabbits – 11pm-2pm
- Georgia Reptile Society with touchable insects & reptiles – 11pm-2pm
- Local Authors Rosalind and Maggie Bunn with their book “All Aboard Georgia”
- Bach 2 Rock: Performing at 12pm in Atherton Square.
- Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta
- Atlanta Typewriter Club

About the Marietta History Center
The Marietta History Center is located at 1 Depot St, Marietta, GA 30060, adjacent to the western edge of Marietta Square, facing the railroad tracks.
The center is housed in the historic Kennesaw House, which was at various times a cotton warehouse, a hotel, and a Civil War morgue and hospital.
The museum began in 1996 and became an official entity of the City of Marietta in 2018.
