Isolated to scattered showers and storms are expected across north and central Georgia today and tonight, with the greatest coverage in east-central portions of the state. Some storms may produce gusty winds, lightning, and brief heavy rainfall. Looking ahead, more widespread storm activity is expected Saturday into Sunday as a cold front moves through the region.

Isolated to scattered showers and storms expected this afternoon and early evening, primarily across east-central GA. Gusty winds, lightning, and brief heavy rainfall would be possible with any storms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Saturday through Thursday…

Scattered to numerous showers and storms expected Saturday afternoon and evening. A cold front will move through the area Saturday night and Sunday, bringing widespread rainfall.
