The Cobb Community Foundation recently recognized more than 40 Corporate Champions who made commitments to the organization ranging from $2500 to more than $100,000.
CCF says the money is aimed at strengthening local nonprofits, bringing residents together to address community challenges and expanding opportunity overall.
The foundation says one initiative that is gaining traction is Quality Care for Children, which is aimed at educating the business community on tax credits and other programs that can offset the cost of providing child care benefits.
