Fourteen employers earned gold, silver or bronze recognition in the 2026 Employer Excellence Certification program, the Cobb Chamber and SelectCobb announced at the 2026 Economic Development Summit.
The certification program, launched earlier this year, recognizes companies for workplace practices aimed at employee well-being, engagement and retention. Recipients were recognized Aug. 26 during the summit at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre.
Applicants were evaluated by a committee of human resources experts using a rubric covering seven areas: workplace flexibility and work-life integration; employee engagement; employee development; health, well-being and safety; compensation and financial well-being; company civility and culture; and community and employee impact.
“This program is designed to increase access to a quality workforce by serving as a symbol of a company’s commitment to its people,” said Dana Johnson, Chief Operating Officer of the Cobb Chamber and Executive Director of SelectCobb. “The Cobb Chamber & SelectCobb are proud to highlight companies in the metro Atlanta region that are prioritizing their people and their workplace.”
