Holidays at The Battery Atlanta presented by Wellstar brings festive entertainment, family-friendly traditions and milestone celebrations to Cobb County
The Battery Atlanta distributed the following announcement of its upcoming holiday season events:
The Battery Atlanta is ready to make the season merry and bright with the return of Holidays at The Battery Atlanta presented by Wellstar, featuring festive traditions, family-friendly entertainment and memorable ways to celebrate from November through New Year’s Eve. Guests can mail letters to the North Pole at Santa’s Post Office, capture seasonal photos during Santa Paws and gather for the 10th annual Tree Lighting presented by Wellstar. The festivities will conclude Dec. 31 with the free New Year’s Eve BASH at The Battery Atlanta presented by Xfinity, marking 10 years of countdowns at the destination with live performances, family activities and a midnight fireworks finale.
Santa’s Post Office
Select dates Saturday, Nov. 21 – Thursday, Dec. 24; noon – 6 p.m.
A beloved seasonal tradition returns when Santa’s Post Office opens for select dates beginning Nov. 20. Families can write and mail letters to the North Pole, meet Santa and capture photos ahead of Christmas Eve. Additional activities, hours and reservation details will be announced closer to the season.

Tree Lighting Presented by Wellstar
Saturday, November 28; 5 – 8 p.m.
The holiday season will officially begin at The Battery Atlanta with the 10th annual Tree Lighting presented by Wellstar. The community celebration will feature performances by A-Town A-List, music from Jammin John and appearances by Santa and BLOOPER. Families can also stop by a craft station, pose for photos and enjoy additional entertainment before the tree lights up the sky. The event is free and open to the public.
Santa Paws
Thursday, Dec. 3, 10 and 17; 4 – 8 p.m.
Pets can get their own moment with Santa during three Santa Paws evenings in December. Guests are invited to bring their four-legged family members for a holiday photo opportunity and an evening out at The Battery Atlanta. Dates and participation details will be available at batteryatl.com.
Kids Holiday Market: A Merry Afternoon of Holiday Cheer
Sunday, Dec. 6; 4 – 8 p.m.
Young entrepreneurs will take center stage when the Kids Holiday Market returns to The Battery Atlanta in partnership with KidsMarkets. Guests can shop kid-run businesses offering unique gifts, seasonal treats and one-of-a-kind finds while supporting the next generation of creators and business owners. Holiday Market: A Merry Afternoon of Holiday Cheer
Sunday, Dec. 13; 1 – 4 p.m.
The Holiday Market returns with an afternoon of seasonal shopping, live music and all-ages fun. Guests can browse vendor booths filled with handcrafted gifts and distinctive holiday finds while enjoying festive entertainment throughout the destination. Children can also take part in seasonal crafts and activities designed to make the day even more memorable. Sensitive Santa
Monday, Dec. 14 and 21; 1 – 3 p.m.
Sensitive Santa offers children with special needs and sensory sensitivities a calm, welcoming way to celebrate the season. Held at the TK Elevator Innovation and Qualification Center, the experience includes a ride to The Elevation Room on the 26th floor, unhurried time with Santa, holiday crafts, coloring and festive activities. New Year’s Eve BASH at The Battery Atlanta Presented by Xfinity
Thursday, Dec. 31; Early Innings from 6 – 8 p.m. and Late Innings from 9 p.m. – midnight
The Battery Atlanta will send off 2026 with the free New Year’s Eve BASH at The Battery Atlanta presented by Xfinity. Now in its 10th year, the annual event offers an early celebration for families followed by a late-night party leading into the first moments of 2027. New Year’s Eve BASH at The Battery Atlanta presented by Xfinity is free and open to the public.
Early Innings
6 – 8 p.m.
Young revelers can celebrate well before bedtime with music from Jammin John and a performance by Divinity Roxx Presents: Divi Roxx Kids. Peppermint Twist – and elf-themed hula hoopers will join crystallized skaters for roaming entertainment, while a giveaway item will be available to guests while supplies last. Early Innings will conclude with a kid-friendly New Year’s countdown.
Late Innings
9 p.m. – midnight
The evening will continue with live music from 12 South Band before the crowd gathers for the final countdown of the year. At midnight, pyrotechnics, confetti and aerial fireworks will welcome 2027 above The Battery Atlanta.
NEW! Expanded Celebration Viewing Area
Guests can enjoy even more room to celebrate with an expanded viewing area featuring roaming entertainment, views of the midnight fireworks and a live stream of 12 South Band at the Heritage Viewing Area screen, so the party continues throughout The Battery Atlanta.
