A new sweet treat will be arriving in East Cobb by the end of the year.
Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams is planning to open a “scoop shop” at 4475 Roswell Road, Suite 1810-In Avenue East Cobb. It will join a number of local branches across metro Atlanta, including existing Cobb locations in Marietta and at The Battery.
Executives say the almost 12-hundred-square foot shop will feature at least 20 rotating flavors at all times.
Jeni’s touts its ice cream as scratch-made, utilizing whole ingredients and fresh milk produced by local dairies and that their product has no synthetic dyes or flavorings and no pre-made mixes.
Officials say that the enterprise, founded in 2002 by James Beard Award-winning restaurateur Jeni Britton, has grown to 90 scoop shops in more than 30 cities.
No exact date has been set but company officials said they’re preparing for a late 2026 opening.
