Cobb County is dealing with a second issue regarding balloting in just a few days.
The Board of Election and Registrations says a “limited” number of voters who applied for an absentee-by-mail ballot might have experienced a delay in getting ballots to them. The county blames the county’s absentee ballot vendor, Fort Orange Press.
The delay means that Cob BOER will give voters whose ballots were issued in that time frame the opportunity to request a new one. They say they’ll be mailed to those voters by priority express mail and with a prepaid return priority request envelope included.
