A line of thunderstorms is expected to move into Cobb County and other north Georgia counties on Saturday, April 1, according to a hazardous weather outlook from the National Weather Service.
A wind advisory is also in effect for Cobb and other parts of the region.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North and Central Georgia.
.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight…
A line of thunderstorms will move through much of north and
central Georgia today. A few of the thunderstorms could be strong
to severe. There is also some potential for isolated brief
tornadoes, but the primary severe weather hazard will be damaging
wind gusts.
Patchy to areas of frost are possible late Saturday night across
portions of northeast Georgia.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Sunday through Friday…
Thunderstorms will be possible again during the mid to late week
as a cold front stalls across portions of central Georgia.

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
