Officer Nathalie Jegg of the Cobb County Police Department’s Community Affairs Unit provided a schedule of upcoming Coffee With a Cop events.
Coffee With a Cop
An announcement for an earlier event by Sgt. Tatroe, who heads the Community Affairs Unit, stated,
“These events will generally be held twice monthly, with one being in the a.m. hours and the other in the p.m. hours. If you are not able to make it due to scheduling conflicts, please watch Nextdoor for an upcoming Coffee-With-A-Cop event that works with your schedule.
Coffee-With-A-Cop brings police officers and the community members they serve together–over coffee–to discuss issues and learn more about each other. In the time it takes to drink a cup of coffee, citizens and police officers can get to know each other and discover mutual goals for the communities they live in and serve.”
