Cobb Chamber and SelectCobb to present “Scaling Corporate Benefits for Small Businesses”

The Cobb Chamber and SelectCobb will host a seminar on “Scaling Corporate Benefits for Small Businesses” on Thursday, October 3, 2024, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. 

The seminar will feature two local experts, Beth Phillips and Allison Giddens. According to the press release for the event, they will “share best practices and innovative approaches to help attendees attract and retain top talent, optimize employee satisfaction, and enhance their businesses’ overall success.” 

 Beth Phillips is a Business Performance Advisor at Insperity, where she helps small to mid-sized businesses succeed and prosper.  Phillips holds a Pragmatic Marketing certification, and her role at Insperity is to provide customized HR solutions for the company’s customers to “improve efficiency, reduce risk, and manage costs in all areas related to people.”

Allison Giddens is the co-owner of Win-Tech, an aerospace machine shop in Kennesaw, where she leads business operations. 

According to the press release:

After working at the small business for nearly 18 years, Giddens purchased the company with her business partner, John Hudson, in 2020. While Giddens oversees the business side, Hudson manages sales and the shop floor.

The seminar will be held at the Cobb Chamber’s office, 1100 Circle 75 Parkway, Suite 1000, Atlanta, GA 30339.
