Avenue East Cobb is about to acquire an Italian accent.

The shopping and community destination on Roswell Road will soon see two new eateries open, both owned by culinary-minded brothers.

This Friday, Giulia will open. It’s billed as an authentic Italian bakery and patisserie and it’s a project of Ben and Seth Gjuka, siblings who are expanding the concept beyond its first iteration in Peachtree Corners.

Its bill of fare will include croissants served in a variety of flavorings, tarts and tiramisu, sandwiches filled with ham, cold cuts, mozzarella, cream cheese and other variations and a variety of crafted coffee drinks. Cakes and focaccias will be round out the menu.

The bakery can be found between Barre 3 and Luga, the second and larger Italian offering from the brothers, which is slated for a Nov. 24 opening. The more than 4,000 square-foot restaurant is poised to offer a seasonal menu that showcases Rome-style pizzas, fresh antipasti, a variety of salads and house-made pasta.

Both concepts are being touted for their fresh, natural ingredients and their emphasis on quality.
