At Tuesday’s Cobb County Board of Commissioners meeting District 4 Commissioner Lisa Cupid introduced two NFL 2018 draft picks who began their athletic careers in high schools in her district. Bradley Chubb, who went to Hillgrove High School in Powder Springs was the fifth pick in the first round, chosen by the Denver Broncos, and Justin Jones who attended South Cobb High School in Austell was drafted in the third round by Chargers.

Both played college football at North Carolina State, where Chubb was a defensive end, and Jones a defensive tackle.

For more information on these young professional athletes from Cobb County, see the NFL draft pages for Bradley Chubb and Justin Jones.
