The Georgia Symphony Orchestra Chorus and the Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra Chorus will continue a multi-year, multi-ensemble GSO series exploring music of America in a performance at Kennesaw State University.
According to a news release from the Georgia Symphony Orchestra, “The America, Vol 5 performance by the GSO Chorus will create vignettes of a diverse cross section of our country.”
The program will include:
Leonard Bernstein, Chichester Psalms
Libby Larsen, The Settling Years
Mrten Lauridsen, Les Chansons Des Roses
William Averitt, Afro American Fragments
Eric Barne, Lambscapes
The performance will be Sunday April 28, 2019 at 3 p.m. at the Bailey Performance Center at Kennesaw State University, 488 Prillaman Way, Kennesaw, GA 30144.
