The Cobb County Board of Elections and Registration today held a special called meeting.

The Board approved a motion to ask the Cobb County Board of Commissioners for funds to mail out absentee ballot applications to all active registered Cobb County voters before the November 3 election.

The request will not affect the August 11 run-off elections, and no dollar amount was discussed during the meeting.

The Board also voted to request approval to change the polling location for precinct Smyrna 2A from it’s current location at Fire Station #3, 2825 Park Rd., Smyrna, GA 30080 to First Baptist Church of Smyrna, 1275 Church St., Smyrna, GA 30080 effective November 3, 2020.
