Marietta Mayor Steve Tumlin will present his annual State of the City address at the Cobb Chamber’s Marietta Area Council Luncheon on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at 11:30 a.m.
The Chamber’s press release for the event introduced Tumlin as follows:
“Cobb County native Steve ‘Thunder’ Tumlin has served as mayor of Marietta for over a decade.
“Under his leadership, the city has seen incredible growth through development including new neighborhoods to welcome more residents, new restaurants and parks opened creating an inviting atmosphere for residents and tourists, and much more.
“This year, Marietta was named one of only two Georgia cities on Money’s 50 Best Places to Live List.
“With the city’s great schools, festivals, and rich history, it is not hard to see why.”
The location of the event is the Hilton Atlanta/Marietta Hotel & Conference Center, 500 Powder Springs Street, Marietta 30064.

The doors open at 11:30 a.m.
Tickets are $30 for Cobb Chamber members and $40 for general admission. Walk-up admissions and payment are not available.
