According to AAA’s weekly report, gasoline prices in Georgia rose nine cents over the past week, reaching an average cost of $2.95 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline. EV charging rates average 36 cents per kilowatt-hour nationally, with Georgia rates coming in at 37.7 cents.

“Monday’s state average is 9 cents higher than it was a week ago, 2 cents higher than it was a month ago, and 31 cents lower than it was a year ago. It costs drivers an average of $44.25 to fill a 15-gallon tank of regular gasoline,”  AAA reported. “Despite the price increase at the pumps, Georgians are paying almost $7.00 less to fill up their vehicles than they did a year ago.” 

Gasoline prices in Cobb County

The price of a gallon of regular unleaded in Cobb County is $2.975, about three cents more than the statewide average.

Since last Monday, the national average price for a gallon of regular gasoline has increased by 8 cents to $3.21, subject to change overnight.
