Smyrna police have identified one suspect but seek another in a June 27 road rage incident.
Police say that occupants of two vehicles exchanged words in a traffic dispute. Then a man in his 50s noticed the other vehicle behind him after he turned off a main roadway. That man stopped his vehicle to speak with the people in the other car. The dispute escalated into a physical fight, during which the victim was hit multiple times with a handgun.
Police say they’ve identified the driver of the suspect vehicle, an 18-year-old woman. She’s been charged with obstructing the police investigation into the matter.
