The Senior Citizens Council of Cobb County submitted the following notice about its 2026 National Senior Citizens Day Award Celebration and Luncheon. This is our annual event with a catered lunch and live entertainment and, of course, always includes the awarding of Lifetime Achievement Award plaques by the Cobb County Board of Commissioners to several exceptional Cobb senior citizens.
This is an exciting afternoon and we would greatly appreciate your promoting this event in any of your media outlets that you believe would be relevant. The cost is $15 per person with a September 16 registration deadline. I have attached a flyer with more detailed information that can be used for registration purposes.
We always feel honored by the participation of the Commissioners in the presentation of these plaques to our worthy senior awardees who have shown a lifetime of volunteerism.
