The Cobb Chamber distributed the following announcement:

The Cobb Chamber, in partnership with the Cobb Community Foundation, will host a Childcare Tax Credit Seminar on Monday, Nov. 16, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Cobb Chamber, 1100 Circle 75 Parkway, 10th Floor, in Atlanta. The seminar will show business leaders how childcare tax credits can help them support working families while strengthening workforce recruitment and retention.

Access to reliable, affordable childcare remains one of the biggest challenges facing working parents in Georgia, and its effects reach well beyond the home and into the workplace. The seminar will take a closer look at the state’s childcare landscape, the pressures it puts on families and employers, and the role businesses can play in finding solutions. Attendees will also learn about the state and federal tax credits and other resources already available to employers who invest in childcare support for their workforce.

The program will feature Ideisha Bellamy, CEO of the Georgia Child Care Association; Kevin Reddick, senior director of tax and tax counsel at The Home Depot; and Rachel Bender, senior associate at Bennett Thrasher LLP. Together, they will offer practical guidance and real-world perspective on an issue that affects businesses and families across the state.

Registration is open at https://tinyurl.com/4n3fv4yd. Tickets for Cobb Chamber members and $20 for non-members.For more information about this seminar, contact Amanda Seals at aseals@cobbchamber.org or 770-859-2322.
