J. Alexander’s is now open at The Battery Atlanta, adding a modern American restaurant to the mixed-use destination’s dining lineup as Great Big Game Show prepares to open May 9 with a new interactive entertainment concept.
The restaurant, located at the corner of Heritage Court and Battery Avenue near Truist Park, occupies an 8,000-square-foot space with a polished interior, expansive bar and private dining room. J. Alexander’s is known for its wood-fired grill, fresh seafood and hand-cut steaks.
“At The Battery Atlanta, we’re always looking for ways to elevate the guest experience,” said Jeremy Strife, executive vice president, development of Braves Development Company. “The additions of J. Alexander’s and Great Big Game Show build on that momentum, bringing even more standout dining and interactive entertainment to Braves Country.”
Great Big Game Show, created by the team behind The Escape Game, will feature live, TV-style competitions that combine trivia, strategy and fast-paced challenges. The venue will include multiple game studios with lights, buzzers and live hosts for groups, corporate events and casual outings.
The Battery Atlanta said the opening will mark Great Big Game Show’s first Georgia location.
A launch party is scheduled for noon to 9 p.m. May 8, featuring 15-minute demo games for groups of up to seven people. The highest-scoring team will have a chance to win $1,000.
