Cobb County issued 39 new business licenses between July 26 and Aug. 2, 2026, reflecting continued growth across retail, food service, professional services, construction and health care. The latest filings include new restaurants, specialty retailers, contractors, childcare and personal care businesses, along with several consulting firms and home service companies, illustrating the county’s broad mix of entrepreneurial activity.
Food-related businesses were particularly active during the reporting period, with a new taqueria, pizza restaurant, bakery, ice cream vendor and other food service operations joining the county’s business community. Service-oriented businesses also represented a significant share of new licenses, ranging from speech therapy and home care to landscaping, roofing and electrical contracting.
These are only licenses for businesses in unincorporated Cobb County. Cities issue their own licenses.
