The Kennesaw Museum Foundation and the Southern Museum will host Haunted Spirits, a Halloween-themed event, from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23.
The Southern Museum invites guests 21 and older to enjoy soft drinks, beer and a signature cocktail while experiencing ghost stories on a tour of the museum, a spooky movie in the theater and a costume contest. 1885 Grill in Kennesaw will provide food, while Reformation Brewery will provide beer and spirits.
Proceeds from ticket sales directly benefit the Kennesaw Museum Foundation.
Doors will open at 6 p.m., with a screening of the 1938 Alfred Hitchcock film “The Lady Vanishes” beginning at 6:15 p.m. The costume contest will be held from 8 to 8:30 p.m., followed by ghost tours of the museum at 8:30 and 9:15 p.m.
Tickets are $30 for museum members and $40 for nonmembers. Tickets include museum admission, three drink tickets, food from 1885 Grill, ghost tours and admission to the Southern Museum theater to view the movie.
