Star Meat Delivery Inc. is recalling about 167,639 pounds of raw pork, beef and goat products that were produced without federal inspection and carried a false USDA inspection mark, according to a Sept. 22 announcement by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service.
The products were shipped to A&D Foods, a Georgia distributor, for further distribution to retailers and restaurants nationwide. FSIS has not identified specific Georgia stores or restaurants that received them.
The recalled products were distributed in bulk under the A&D Foods label and bear the false establishment number “EST. 1363.” They include cuts of goat and beef, ground pork, pork chops, chorizo and other pork products. Retail packages may have store-applied stickers instead of the bulk-box labels. FSIS said it may add products and labels as more information becomes available. Consumers can check the currently available labels.
The FSIS alert lists the following products:

- No illnesses or injuries have been confirmed in connection with the products, FSIS said. Meat produced without inspection may contain undeclared allergens, harmful bacteria or other contaminants.
Consumers should not eat the recalled products. FSIS said they should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase. Restaurants and retailers should not serve or sell them. Anyone concerned about an illness or injury should contact a health care provider.
