A&D Foods released the following statement about a recall of products supplied by Star Meat Delivery and distributed by A&D Foods:
A&D Foods was recently alerted by the U.S. Department of Agriculture about a recall involving meat products supplied by Star Meat Delivery Inc. and distributed by A&D Foods. We understand that news of a food recall can be concerning, so upon learning this, we quickly coordinated with the agency and notified our customers to ensure all recalled products are identified and removed from commerce as quickly as possible.
The safety and the integrity of the products we distribute are among our highest priorities. We have been in direct communication with our customers and are assisting them with the appropriate recall procedures. No illnesses or adverse health events have been reported in connection with the products subject to this recall.
We will continue to take every appropriate step and work closely with regulatory authorities and our customers and supply chain partners to support the recall, protect consumers, and uphold the standards of safety, quality, and integrity that guide our business.”
