Cobb County Adds 40 New Business Licenses

Cobb County issued 40 new business licenses in unincorporated areas between Sept. 27 and Oct. 4, 2026, with the listings ranging from construction contractors and professional services to retailers, health-related businesses and creative enterprises.

These are only licenses for businesses in unincorporated Cobb County. Cities issue their own licenses.

Construction and property-related businesses make up a noticeable portion of the week’s licenses. The list includes building, air-conditioning, plumbing, drainage, landscaping and steel-erection contractors, along with real estate and office-space businesses.

The listings also show a broad mix of smaller service businesses, including a barber, salon, locksmith, tutoring service, photographer, publisher, janitorial service and graphics-design business. Two licenses are for precious-metals businesses, while several others fall into health, wellness or counseling categories.

Most mailing addresses are in Cobb County communities including Marietta, Kennesaw, Smyrna, Acworth and Powder Springs, although several businesses list mailing addresses elsewhere in metro Atlanta or outside Georgia.
