For the northeastern portion of the state, a winter weather advisory has been issued due to the forecast of patchy freezing rain from this evening to Friday morning. The time range of the advisory is 7 p.m. this evening to 7 a.m. Friday.

A winter weather advisory has been issued for patchy freezing
rain northeast Georgia between 7 PM Thursday and 7 AM Friday. The
higher elevations could see up to a tenth of an inch of ice with a
glaze possible elsewhere.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Friday through Wednesday…
Dangerously cold conditions are possible again Friday night
through Sunday morning.

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
