The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook for Cobb County and other parts of north and central Georgia for Thursday, November 21.

Much cooler air and gusty wind are expected to come to the region today. Lows in the 30s will continue through the weekend, with a potential for frost.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north and central Georgia.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight…

Much cooler air will settle over the area today, with gusty west

to northwest winds. Overnight lows tonight will drop into the 30s

across much of the area, with the potential for patchy frost in

some wind protected areas along with the possibility of near

freezing temperatures in parts of the north.

Snow flurries are possible in the northeastern mountains late

tonight, with a light dusting of snow possible across the highest

elevations. No travel impacts are expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Friday through Wednesday…

Low temperatures in the 30s will continue through the weekend,

with the potential of frost each night.
