Cobb County will hold its primary runoff election on Tuesday, July 26. Two countywide runoffs are on the ballot. Primary runoff elections tend to have low turnout, so each vote has a great deal of impact. Early voting is available on various dates and times from July 5 to July 22. Information on times and places can be found on the Cobb County Voting Options page.
There will be a Republican primary runoff for chairperson of the county commission. The candidates are the incumbent Tim Lee, and challenger Mike Boyce. If you are a registered voter and did not vote in the April primary, you can still vote in this runoff. However, if you voted in the Democratic primary, you can’t vote in the Republican runoff. See the FAQ About Primary Runoffs for more information.
The nonpartisan runoff for State Court judge in District 1, Post 3 is open to all Cobb County voters. The candidates are Kellie Hill and John Morgan.
