Auditions for Cobb County’s Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day celebrations begin next Sat. Dec 30

Do you sing, dance, or do interpretive readings?  Would you like to display your talents in celebration of the message of civil rights, justice, and equality for all people?  The auditions for the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day celebration sponsored by the Cobb County government and the Cobb County branch of the NAACP begin next week.  Audition times are:

Sat Dec 30, 10 a.m.

Thu Jan 4, 6 p.m

Sat Jan 6, 10 a.m.

The theme of your performance should relate to the message or life of Dr. King and should be no longer than three minutes.

All three auditions will be held at Jennie T. Anderson Theatre, Cobb Civic Center, 548 S. Marietta Parkway, Marietta. To reserve an audition slot, call the NAACP at 770-425-5757 or Cobb County at 770-528-8490.
