Cobb County advance voting schedule and locations

Advance voting began today, and Cobb County distributed the following schedule and list of locations:

Advance voting begins; voters encouraged to vote by absentee ballot

Advance voting for the Aug. 11 primary and nonpartisan runoff started today. Cobb County voters can vote at any of the following locations. Please expect lines and plan to wear face masks and practice safe social distancing when visiting an in-person voting location. To view estimated wait times, click here.

Voters are encouraged to vote by-mail using the absentee application found on the absentee voting page

Cobb Elections and Registration Office, 736 Whitlock Ave. NW, Marietta
7 a.m.-7 p.m., Monday-Friday, July 20-Aug. 79 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday, July 25 and Aug. 1
North Cobb Senior Center, 3900 S Main St., Acworth
7 a.m.-7 p.m., Monday-Friday, Aug. 3-7

Riverside EpiCenter, 135 Riverside Parkway, Austell7 a.m.-7 p.m., Monday-Friday, Aug. 3-7

East Cobb Government Service Center, 4400 Lower Roswell Road, Marietta
7 a.m.-7 p.m., Monday-Friday, Aug. 3-7

West Cobb Senior Center, 4915 Dallas Highway, Powder Springs
7 a.m.-7 p.m., Monday-Friday, Aug. 3-7

There is NO VOTING on Sundays, Saturday, Aug. 8 or Monday, Aug. 10.

On Election Day, Tuesday, Aug. 11, voters must go to their assigned polling locations, open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. To confirm your eligibility to vote for this election, please visit the Secretary of State’s “My Voter Page.”

Cobb Seeks Poll Workers

In another announcement, the county wrote it is seeking poll workers for the upcoming election days:

Cobb County continually looks for residents who want to serve their community by working on election day as a poll worker. Election day poll workers will help set up and open the polling place, greet voters, assist voters and close the polling place.

We are looking for workers who take pride in their work, are patient, take direction well and who pay attention to detail.


  • At least 16 years and older
  • U.S. citizen and can read, write and speak English
  • Resident of Cobb County or employed by Cobb County
  • No prior felony convictions for at least 10 years
  • Trained for each election


  • Get paid to serve your community
  • Unique opportunity to experience the fundamental part of the voting process
  • Cultivate an interest in the election process
  • Work side-by-side with your neighbors
  • Gain resume experience
