Cobb Elections posts advanced voting dates for City of Marietta Ward 5 runoff

The Cobb County Elections website has posted the dates and times for advanced voting in the runoff election for Marietta’s Ward 5 City Council seat.

Incumbent Marietta Councilman Reginald Copeland failed to win a majority in a three-way race in the November 2 election. Challenger M. Carlyle Kent, who received the most votes among the three candidates, will face Copeland in the runoff.

The dates and times are as follows:

November 15th – November 20th Monday – Saturday	8:00am – 6:00pm
November 22th – November 23rd Monday – Tuesday	8:00am – 6:00pm
November 24th Wednesday	8:00am – 1:00pm

Advanced voting will be held at Cobb County Election & Registration Main Office, 736 Whitlock Ave NW, Marietta, GA 30064.

The official day of the runoff will be Tuesday, November 30, 2021, and on that day voters will cast ballots at their designated polling locations.
