The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook for Cobb County and much of the rest of north Georgia due to the chance of thunderstorms Friday and the likelihood of thunderstorms over the weekend.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North and Central Georgia.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight…

Scattered thunderstorms will be possible across portions of

north and central Georgia this afternoon and evening. A few

storms could become strong with the primary hazards being gusty

winds and frequent lightning strikes.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Saturday through Thursday…

Scattered thunderstorms will be likely through the weekend and

into next week.
