Kennesaw’s Southern Museum to host a Women’s History Month event

The Southern Museum in downtown Kennesaw, Georgia will host a Women’s History Month celebration event on Saturday, March 25th. 

The event will include educational stations, a scavenger hunt about women in the Civil War, and specialty tours about the Bread Riots led by women in the early 1860s.   These events begin at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Special collections materials will also be on display. There will be Women’s History Month Gallery Guides available for visitors to learn more about women’s involvement and contributions throughout the permanent gallery.
