A longtime Cobb-County-based- business has settled into a new home.

Cobb Chamber officials and community leaders were on hand late last week as a ribbon-cutting celebrated the move of Loud Security into a new corporate headquarters in Kennesaw.

The new home base is in the Barrett Summit Office Park, Located at 1990 Vaughn Road. Company officials say the new facility totals more than 51,000 square feet and includes new space for technology, operations and training-and for possible future expansion.

Loud was established in 1995 by John Loud. A Cobb County Chamber of Commerce news release says it has grown from  a local alarm company into a prominent security provider serving residential and commercial customers across Metro Atlanta and Georgia.

“When we began operating out of the basement of our home over 30 years ago, I never could have imagined what we would become,” said Loud in a company press release. “This new headquarters represents more than just the growth of our company. It represents the dedication of our employees, the trust of our customers, and the incredible support we’ve received from this community over the years.

“To look around today and see so many people who have been part of our journey is truly humbling. We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished, but I’m even more excited about what lies ahead,” said Loud.

According to the company press release, “The company’s recent growth has included multiple acquisitions, expansion into additional markets and increased capabilities in commercial security, video surveillance, intrusion detection and fire monitoring.”

Loud’s services have also expanded into such areas as video surveillance and fire monitoring over the years.

The company’s website says it has nearly 60 employees.
