Cobb County issued 32 new business licenses between May 4 and May 8, with a notable mix of professional services, healthcare providers, automotive businesses and retail concepts appearing across the county. Several commercial real estate and office rental entities tied to Kennesaw-area industrial properties also appeared repeatedly in this week’s filings, alongside new consulting firms, contractors and specialty retailers.
This week’s filings included medical offices, automotive services, consulting firms and retail operations. Healthcare-related businesses were especially prominent this cycle, with new physician offices, nursing services and education consulting firms joining the county rolls. Automotive-related activity also remained strong, including used car sales, detailing and repair services.
The listings also reflected continued growth in home and business support services, with new janitorial, roofing, pool maintenance, marketing and management consulting companies opening across Cobb County. Retail additions included a halal grocery store, arts and crafts retailer and gift shop.
These are only licenses for businesses in unincorporated Cobb County. Cities issue their own licenses.
