SOUTH COBB REGIONAL LIBRARY GIVES IN SEASON OF THANKFULNESS
As November highlights the fall season with gratitude and thankfulness, South Cobb Regional Library exhibits selflessness that is worthy of emulation, with a couple of events on its schedule for the month.
On Saturday, November 7th, the 1 PM event Hand Made for the Holidays invites children to express thankfulness or appreciation through the creation of memorable gifts from the heart—and by hand. Preschool, elementary, and tween children are encouraged to bring and use photos or mementos in their creations, which may require assistance from their caregivers.
The Friday before Thanksgiving week, on November 20th, South Cobb Regional Library hosts He’s Able Outreach Foundation for its third Community Feeding & Clothing. The foundation’s outreach is to spread love and belonging through the sharing of blessings and by extending resource assistance to those in need. Ultimately, the organization’s hope is to have helped people change their circumstance, which would keep to its principle: “the smallest help can change someone’s life”. The collaborative effort on the library’s part, with providing shelter to support this event, begins at 11 AM and runs until 2 PM.
With November serving as the month of gratitude and community, South Cobb Regional Library also offers the following events:

- The Last Word Book Discussion, Thursday, November 12th at 4:30 PM

South Cobb Regional Library shall close on Wednesday, November 11th for Veteran’s Day and early on Wednesday, November 25th at 5 PM; it will remain closed for Thanksgiving until Saturday, November 28th, reopening at 10 AM.
