Kennesaw to host summer camp expo

The City of Kennesaw will host a a free Cool for the Summer Camp Expo at the Ben Robertson Community Center, 2753 Watts Drive, Kennesaw, on Tuesday, April 30 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. along with a snow slide from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.

The event is organized by Kennesaw’s Parks & Recreation Department, and according to the press release for the event, “Parks & Recreation staffers and local providers will be on hand to answer questions and provide information about summer camp offerings. Over two dozen unique programs will be represented in activities ranging from dance, gymnastics and soccer to LEGO® engineering, cooking and fine arts.”

The snow slide will be in the community center parking lot, and light snacks and refreshments will be served inside.

Discounts will be offered for registrations accepted at the event.

Registration for all summer camps, classes and workshops opened April 5 for Kennesaw city residents, and April 19 for non-residents.
