According to Sergeant Dana Pierce of the Cobb County Police Department, the body found in Nickajack Creek below the Silver Comet Trail bridge has been identified by a family member.  The deceased is a minor, and the death has been ruled a suicide. The deceased left a note before taking their own life.

The body was discovered by a walker on the Silver Comet Trail at 7 a.m. Friday morning.
