UPDATED: Marietta Police Department — man with autism reported missing

UPDATE: Angelo Messineo has been found.  The Marietta Police Department posted the following to their Facebook page:

 

 

The Marietta Police Department issued an alert at 5:27 p.m. that Angelo Messineo, 21, wandered away from his foster home near Sandy Plains and Scufflegrit Roads and is reported missing.  Here is the complete alert:

Critical missing midfunctioning male with autism last seen near Sandy Plains & Scufflegrit. Info:

 Angelo Messineo (21) is missing again.

Approximately thirty minutes ago he wandered away from his foster home at 1521 Evanston Court.

The last two times this has happened the public was instrumental in locating him!  Please share this information and ask everyone in the area to watch for him.  He was last seen wearing a blue sweater with a white undershirt and brown khaki pants.

If Angelo becomes agitated he may start clapping his hands loudly. He does not remember numbers and may not know how to get back home.  Police and fire are already searching the area. Anyone with information is urge to call 911 immediately.
