Red Hare Brewing Company is celebrating seven years open in Cobb County’s craft beer community with an anniversary party at the brewery on Friday, August 17 and Saturday, August 18.
The anniversary party includes beer tastings of Red Hare’s core and seasonal brews, as well as catered food and live music. It’s an outdoor music festival style party, so attendees should be prepared to be outside. Friday’s party starts at 4 p.m., and Saturday starts at 3 p.m.
Red Hare Brewing Company
Red Hare Brewing Company was the first independent craft brewery in Georgia to can its beer for distribution. The brewery distributes four year-round brews, a catalogue of seasonals and variations, as well as non-alcoholic craft sodas in Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, Alabama and Florida.
The Red Hare team is primarily pushing their summer SPF 50/50 India Pale Radley, a citrusy blend of Gangway IPA and their house-brewed sparkling grapefruit soda at 4.2 percent ABV.
North Georgia local pop-rockers Wet Jeans are playing Friday night, with food provided by The Real Mexican Vittles, Carne 250, King of Pops and OK YAKI.
Saturday is the big concert day, with performances by Atlanta indie-rockers The Royal Turns, blues songwriter Truett, and Motown trio Ruby Velle & The Soulphonics. The Real Mexican Vittles, King of Pops, Zun Zun Cuban Sandwiches, and Loyal Q and Brew will be there to cover food.
Tickets are $20 for Friday and $30 for Saturday. Both days include concert admission, three full beers, and a commemorative anniversary cup. VIP tickets for Saturday include concert admission, six full beers, a commemorative glass, one plate of food, one six-pack of Red Hare beer to go, and access to VIP locations at the event.
Dogs are allowed in the brewery taproom and the outdoor party area, but must be on a leash. Outside food is also allowed, but no outside drinks. The brewery encourages the use of ridesharing services, and is providing the promo code REDHARE7YEARS for a discounted ride.
Red Hare Brewing Company is located at 1998 Delk Industrial Blvd, Marietta. A full beer list, tickets and more information can be found at Red Hare Brewing Company’s website.
