Cobb County residents and visitors can sample food and appetizers from more than 30 local restaurants at the annual Taste of Smyrna “Festival of Delectable,” which will take place in Downtown Smyrna on Saturday, September 15.
Mediterranean, Italian, Caribbean, Mexican, Chinese and American cuisines will be available to try from individual booths at the festival, with samples with prices ranging from $1 to $4. Restaurants will set up along King Street, near the Village Green and Smyrna Community Center from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Lunch and dinner options include Williamson Bros. BBQ, Wade’s and Mezza Luna Pasta and Seafood, Chicken Salad Chick, Copeland’s of Cumberland, Marlow’s Tavern and more. There will also be a beer garden and other beverages available.
For dessert, Bruster’s Real Ice Cream, Jo and Glo’s Shaved Ice, Frozen Cow Creamery will also have booths mixed in with the other food.
Scott Thompson will perform acoustic music all day on the Veteran’s Memorial and other entertainment will be on the main stage. Kids can enjoy a Kids zone on the green with inflatables giant human hamster balls
Admission into the festival is free, all food and drink are separate cash purchases and there will be an ATM on site. The festival address is 2800 King St SE Smyrna, Georgia.
