If the hot weather we’re experiencing in Cobb County makes you want to get into the spirit of a season when cooler weather prevails, Santa Claus is paying an early visit to Marietta Square with the city’s Christmas in July celebration.
The announcement on the City of Marietta website describes the festivities as follows:
Come celebrate a unique and festive event where you are invited to experience the magic of Christmas in the midst of summer. A fun escape from the heat and a chance to reminisce about the joy and excitement of the holiday season.
During the Christmas in July event in Glover Park, your family will have a chance to meet Santa Claus. Children and adults alike can interact with Santa and share their Christmas wish lists or simply have a chat and take a photo. Santa will be dressed in a summer-themed outfit, combining the traditional red and white attire with a touch of summery accessories.
The Christmas in July event provides a delightful opportunity to experience the essence of Christmas, even during the summer.
It’s a chance to come together as a community, enjoy festive decorations, and create lasting memories with a visit from Santa Claus himself.
