The Senior Citizen Council of Cobb to celebrate National Senior Citizens Day

The Senior Citizen Council of Cobb submitted the following news release. The deadline for reserving lunch at the event is August 31, 2024:


The Senior Citizen Council of Cobb is excited to announce that we will once again be celebrating National Senior Citizens Day. Established in 1988 by President Ronald Reagan, National Senior Citizens Day is a day to support, honor, and show appreciation for all seniors, recognizing their life achievements. This year, we will celebrate seven outstanding Cobb citizens.

Seating is limited, so act quickly to join us for a delicious lunch and live performances by Willie Brown and Friends, Good Times Band, and the Twilight Twirlers of Marietta.

WHEN: Wednesday, September 11, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM
LOCATION: Piedmont Church Conference Center, 570 Piedmont Road, Marietta
COST: $10.00 per person
