The City of Marietta announced on its website that the draft version of the Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) for the Program Year 2025 for the city’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program is available for public review.
The CDBG program is managed by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, which describes the grants as follows:
The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program provides annual grants on a formula basis to states, cities, and counties to develop viable urban communities by providing decent housing and a suitable living environment, and by expanding economic opportunities, principally for low- and moderate-income persons.
The Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) is an annual requirement for governments that receive CDBG funds.
According to the announcement on the city’s website:
The City of Marietta encourages citizens, public agencies and other interested parties to review the contents of its draft CAPER and to submit their written comments.
The draft report is now available for public review at 268 Lawrence St. Suite 200, Marietta, GA 30060.

The plan will be open for public comment until September 11, 2026. All written comments should be submitted by email or postal mail no later than Friday, September 11, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.
A public review meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Community Development Division Office. All participants will be able to submit comments at this time. All written comments can be sent to:
