Lockheed Martin CEO Marillyn Hewson to speak at Credit Suisse 5th Annual Industrials Conference

Marillyn Hewson, CEO of Lockheed Martin, will speak at the Credit Suisse 5th Annual Industrials Conference on Wednesday, Nov. 29, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:10 a.m. ET.

Lockheed Martin is number four on the list of the top employers in Cobb County with 6,900 employees in the county.  Worldwide the company has a workforce of 97,000. It is based in Bethesda, Maryland.

Credit Suisse is a major international investment banking firm and their Industrials Conference features speeches by the top executives of a number of large industrial corporations.

Hewson started her career at Lockheed Martin as an industrial engineer more than 30 years ago.

Fortune magazine named Ms. Hewson as number 3 on the list of the “50 Most Powerful Women in Business” in 2016. Forbes ranked her, in that same year, as number 24 on their list of the “World’s 25 Most Powerful Women.”.
