Retiring state representative Earl Ehrhart named as CEO for Taylor English Decisions LLC

Retiring Georgia state representative Earl Ehrhart has been named as CEO for Taylor English Decisions LLC, a government strategies consulting firm affiliated with Taylor English Duma LLP, according to a company press release.

He has represented Georgia House District 36, in the Powder Springs area of Cobb County, for over 30 years, making him the longest-serving Republican in the Georgia House.

Ehrhart is the chair of the Subcommittee on Higher Education of the House Appropriations Committee.  He has also served as national chair and a 15-year board member of the conservative legislative policy think tank, the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC).

Trey Paris, Jonathan Crumly, and Daraka Satcher have also joined the practice. Paris comes to the firm from General Electric, Crumly is a practicing attorney, and Satcher is a former deputy assistant secretary for legislative and intergovernmental affairs at the U.S. Department of Commerce.

David Connell, a former CEO and president of the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce, serves as a principal for the Business Consulting Practice of Taylor English Decisions.
