The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook for  Cobb County and other counties in the region for Friday and throughout the weekend due to the possibility of showers and  thunderstorms.  

What is in the statement?

The statement gives the following details:

A summer-like pattern will support several rounds of showers and

thunderstorms through the weekend. Predicting the exact timing

and areal extent of the storms is difficult at this time. Some

storms will be capable of heavy rain, brief strong winds, and

cloud-to- ground lightning.
